The Middle East is an area where cars and truck is king and fuel is cheap, typically leaving little incentive to discover more environmentally-friendly ways of walking around.
But this year, as protests across the Middle East have actually pushed up the rate of oil, the problem of discovering alternative sources of fuel has entered sharp focus.
In an area that has one of the greatest carbon footprints in the world, one service is benefiting from the growing pressure to find alternatives to oil. It's set up the Middle East's very first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's proving lucrative too, already their client-list includes McDonald's.
